About the Serpae Tetra

Serpae Tetras are vibrant, active, and relatively small freshwater fish. They are known for their bright reddish-orange bodies, black markings near the gills, and a black-edged dorsal fin with white tips. These fish are generally peaceful but can exhibit fin-nipping behavior, especially when excited during feeding.

Social Group: 12+ fish to minimize aggression

Diet: Omnivorous; Commercial flakes/pellets, frozen bloodworms/brine shrimp, live baby brine shrimp, daphnia or mosquito larvae

Compatible with: Bristlenose Pleco, Corydoradinae Catfish, German Blue Ram, Zebra Danio, Kuhli Loach, Nerite Snail.
