Dry Goods (Supplies, Brand Merchandise, Care Equipment)
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase of any dry good, or merchandise, please contact scholarlyexotics@gmail.com within 7 days upon receiving the product. Refunds are only permitted upon product use or if product(s) arrive in a damaged condition. Entire orders will not be refunded, only individual products that arrive defective, broken, damaged.
Products that arrive in perfect condition and can be effectively used with no visible damage or malfunction are not eligible for reimbursement 7 days after delivery.
DOA Policy for Invertebrates Produced by Scholarly Exotics:

Refunds/Reimbursements are only applicable to LAG through delivery of orders to a carrier hub. UPS is the only method of shipping for Scholarly Exotics at this time to ensure that orders arrive swiftly without negatively impacting invertebrate welfare.

If there are deceased invertebrates in your delivery within 3 hours of delivery time and wish to receive a refund. Please do the following correctly within a timely manner of delivery

Take clear photos of the deceased invertebrates inside their unopened container

Make note of the time you received the package. If the claim is not sent within two hours upon receiving it, the claim is void

Email scholarlyexotics@gmail.com putting “DOA” and your order number in the subject line. Then specify what in your order has arrived deceased. Only 50% or more of an order that is DOA can be refunded.

We will reach out to you as soon as possible and ensure that compensation occurs.
DOA Policy for Live Aquarium Plants:
- Reimbursements are not eligible for plants if there is any algae, snails, or any potential hitchhikers
- If any plants arrive in poor condition or deceased, please reach out within 3 hours upon delivery
- Returns are not eligible for plants as there is no guarantee that the plant will survive the return.
