Minimum Tank Size: 75 Gallons for one fish

Water Temperature: 70-79 °F

Water pH: 6.0-8.0

Social Group: Solitary, M/F Pair

Diet: Omnivorous; High-quality cichlid pellets, chopped earthworms, tilapia, shrimp, prawns, mussels, blanched vegetables (spinach, zucchini).

Compatible with: Large Plecos & Central American Cichlids. Carefully plan your large aquarium accordingly for tank mates with this species. It may be best to keep a single cichlid in an aquarium.
