The Peppered Corydoras (Corydoras paleatus) is a popular freshwater catfish known for its speckled pattern and peaceful nature. It's a small, hardy fish, typically reaching around 2.5 inches in length, and is a great addition to community and planted aquariums. They are native to South America and are omnivores, readily accepting various flake foods, pellets, and frozen foods.

Water Temperature: 72-78 °F

Water pH: 6.0-7.0

Social Group: At least 6 fish; these catfish are more comfortable in social groups

Diet: Omnivorous; Tropical Flakes, Frozen Food, Bottom Feeder Pellets, Detritus

Compatible with: Bettas, Gourami, Angelfish, Discus, Guppies, Shrimp, Mollies, Platies, etc. This fish should not be placed with species that can consume them or super aggressive species.
