OB Peacock Cichlids, scientifically known as Aulonocara sp., are a vibrant and popular choice for African cichlid aquariums. They are characterized by their striking, multi-colored (often orange, red, or yellow blotches on a blue or grey base) patterns, which vary significantly between individuals, making each fish unique. These cichlids are known for their semi-aggressive and territorial behavior, especially during breeding, and typically reach a size of up to 6 inches (15 cm).

Water Temperature: 72-79 °F

Water pH: 7.4-9.0

Social Group: Harem- 1 male with 3-5 females

Diet: Herbivorous; Spirulina Flakes, Blanched Vegetables, Frozen Brine Shrimp/Bloodworms, Tubifex Worms

Compatible with: Only Lake Malawi Cichlids of similar temperament and size. Different patterning is ideal as well.
