The Green Cory Catfish ( Osteogaster aenea- formerly Corydoras aeneus) is a freshwater fish known for its peaceful nature. 

These bottom-dwelling scavengers are popular in community aquariums as a bottom dwelling fish.

They are known for their green shimmer, white belly, and scavenging behavior.

• Temperament: Peaceful
• Minimum Tank Size: 20 Gallons
• Water Temperature: 73-84 °F
• Water pH: 6.5-8.0
• Social Group: At least 6 fish; these catfish are more comfortable in social groups
• Diet: Omnivorous; Tropical Flakes, Frozen Bloodworms, Bottom Feeder Pellets, Detritus
• Compatible with: Bettas, Gourami, Angelfish, Discus, Guppies, Shrimp, Mollies, Platies, etc. This fish should not be placed with species that can consume them or super aggressive species.
