The L240 Galaxy Pleco, also known as the Vampire Pleco, is a visually striking freshwater fish with a dark body adorned with bright white spots, resembling a starry night sky. Native to the fast-flowing rivers of South America, they are known for their territorial behavior and carnivorous diet, requiring a varied meaty diet and high water flow in aquariums.

Water Temperature: 72-79 °F

Water pH: 5.6-7.0

Social Group: Solitary unless in a 125+ gallon aquarium

Diet: Carnivorous; High protein sinking pellets, bloodworms, prawns, earthworms, mussels

Compatible with: Hemiodus sp. tetras, Retroculus sp. cichlids, Congo Tetras, Emperor Tetras
