About the Colombian Tetra

The Colombian tetra, scientifically known as Hyphessobrycon columbianus, is a vibrant freshwater fish characterized by its striking coloration and active nature. It features a silver-grey body with a blue sheen, especially prominent on the upper body, and vibrant red fins. These fish are relatively large for tetras, growing to about 2.5 inches, and are known for their energetic schooling behavior.
