The Blue Neon Peacock Cichlid, scientifically known as Aulonocara ethelwynnae, is a vibrant freshwater fish native to Lake Malawi in Africa. Males exhibit a striking metallic blue face, dorsal, and anal fins, with a bright yellow body. Females are typically gray with a subtle blue or yellow sheen. They are known for their elongated bodies, elegant fins, and can reach a size of 4-6 inches (10-15 cm). This species has been reported to be sensitive to water quality. Ensuring that there is very effective filtration, rockwork, swimming spaces, and a water hardness between 179-447 ppm is achieved.

Compatible with: Only Lake Malawi Cichlids of similar temperament and size. Different patterning is ideal as well.
