Floating Plants

Floating plants can be a very important tool to use in maintaining pristine aquarium water quality. These plants tend to not root into your substrate and absorb nutrients directly from the water column. However, you may notice some stem plants under this category that do incredibly well as a floating plant, and will send roots down into your substrate as they grow!
