Green Tiger Barbs are a color variation of the common Tiger Barb, known for their striking iridescent green bodies and bright orange or red fins. They are a medium-sized, active, and semi-aggressive schooling fish, native to Sumatra and Borneo, but readily available through captive breeding.

Water Temperature: 68-79 °F

Water pH: 5.0-8.0

Social Group: 6-8+ individuals

Diet: Omnivorous; This species will readily consume a wide variety of commercial pellets/flakes, frozen brine shrimp/bloodworms.

Compatible with: Plecos, Catfish (Corydoradinae), larger rainbowfish, larger tetras with short fins, Red Tail Shark (75+ Gallons required)
