About the Red & White Ryukin

The Red & White Ryukin Goldfish is a selectively bred variety of goldfish, characterized by its distinctive humpback, deep body, and flowing fins. The "Red & White" coloration refers to the striking combination of red and white markings that adorn its body. These fish are known for their hardiness and are popular additions to both aquariums and ponds. 

Goldfish are known to be social fish and produce a lot of waste. Effective filtration and tank set up are required to keep goldfish with optimal welfare.

Minimum Tank Size: 40 Gallons for 2x Goldfish and effective filtration. Add 10-15 gallons of water for each additional fish.

Water pH: 6.0-8.0

Social Group: 2+ Individuals

Diet: Omnivorous; Commercial Flakes & Pellets suited for goldfish, algae, algae wafers, detritus, Frozen Brine Shrimp/Bloodworms
