About the Red Tuxedo Guppy
The Red Tuxedo Guppy is a peaceful, live-bearing freshwater fish known for its distinctive "tuxedo" pattern, featuring a dark, contrasting body with vibrant red markings on the tail and sometimes the head or fins. These active, hardy, and hardy fish are excellent for beginner aquarists, thriving in community tanks of 10 gallons or more with other peaceful species. Males are smaller but more colorful with larger fins than the larger, duller females.

Social Group: Solitary, Harem, or Breeding Colony. It is best to keep 2-3 females for every male guppy to prevent consistent male-to-female courtship and harassment.
Diet: Omnivorous; Commercial Diets, Frozen Bloodworms/Brine Shrimp/Daphnia, Live Baby Brine Shrimp/Daphnia
Compatible with: Catfish (Corydoradinae), Bristlenose Plecos, Harlequin Rasboras, Neon Tetras, other peaceful community fish. Avoid keeping with fin nipping, and semi-aggressive fish.
