Temperament: Semi Aggressive/Aggressive

Minimum Tank Size: 55 Gallons for one adult, 75+ Gallons for more than 2 adult fish

Water Temperature: 68-80 °F

Water pH: 6.0-7.5

Social Group: Solitary or Small Social Groups. Will form pairs when breeding

Diet: Omnivorous; Sinking Bottom Feeder Pellets, Frozen Bloodworms/Brine Shrimp, Blanched Vegetables (Spinach, Zucchini), Commercial Food for New World Cichlids

Compatible with: Similar sized non-aggressive and semi-aggressive fish including Firemouth Cichlids, Silver Dollars, and Common Plecos
