The Neon Blue Dwarf Gourami (Trichogaster lalius) is a small, peaceful freshwater fish known for its vibrant coloration and gentle nature. Males exhibit a bright iridescent blue body with red stripes, while females are a duller silvery-blue. They are labyrinth fish, meaning they can breathe air directly, and are relatively easy to care for in a planted aquarium.

Diet: Omnivore; this species will readily consume commercial flakes/pellets, frozen bloodworms/brine shrimp, live baby brine shrimp or daphnia, algae.

Compatible with: Peaceful species with short fins such as Corydoradinae, Neon Tetras, Ember Tetras, Platies, Otocinclus, Kuhli Loaches
