About the Livingstoni Cichlid
The Livingstoni Cichlid (Nimbochromis livingstonii) is a captivating African cichlid known for its predatory behavior and unique "playing dead" hunting tactic. Adult males can grow up to 10 inches long, displaying vibrant blue and white patterns, while females are slightly smaller and less intensely colored. Juveniles have a mottled brown and white pattern that transitions as they mature.

Social Group: Solitary. If breeding, keep a harem of 3-4 females to one male.
Diet: Carnivore; chopped tilapia, prawns, shrimp, mussels, frozen bloodworms/brine shrimp
Compatible with: Frontosa, larger Mbuna & Rift Lake Cichlids that cannot be eaten
