The Dwarf Flag Cichlid, Laetacara curviceps, is a small, peaceful cichlid species native to South America, specifically the Amazon River basin. They are known for their calm demeanor, vibrant coloration (often with yellow and black markings), and suitability for community tanks. They are relatively easy to breed and make good parents, actively caring for their young.

Social Group: M/F Pair; multiple pairs can share a larger aquarium

Diet: Omnivorous; high-quality commercial flakes/pellets, live baby brine shrimp, daphnia, frozen bloodworms/brine shrimp, potentially blanched vegetables (spinach, zucchini)

Compatible with: Bristlenose Pleco, Neon Tetras, Ember Tetras, White Cloud Minnows, Harlequin Rasboras, Otocinclus, Corydoradinae Catfish, Bamboo Shrimp.
