About the Giant Danio
The Giant Danio (Devario aequipinnatus) is a schooling, freshwater fish known for its lively and active nature. It's a relatively large danio, reaching up to 5 inches in length, and is characterized by its silvery body with iridescent blue and orange, broken vertical stripes. These fish are popular in community aquariums due to their peaceful temperament and beautiful markings, but they do require a spacious tank and plenty of open swimming space.
